In addition to our supply and fitting of our aluminium, wooden and telescopic loft ladders, we are pleased to also offer the following services.

	Drop Down Loft Access Doors South West Loft Ladders are please to announce the addition of the PLASTIC Drop Down Loft Access Door. This loft hatch door provides an unobtrusive and cost effective alternative to traditional wooden loft space access. The door has a twist action, three point closing mechanism along with a unique hinge system, allowing the door to be hinged down or removed completely. Draught seals are located to seal between both frame and ceiling and door and frame. Preventing the problem of moist warm air entering the roof space thus meeting requirements of the building regulations. The catch can be easily operated with a loft ladder pole. 50mm of EPS insulation fitted as standard The loft hatch door and frame is unobtrusively stylish with a design to fit with almost all house décor styles. The loft access door has a lightly textured white finish that can be cleaned with a solvent free damp cloth, or can be painted to match any décor.

	Balastrade For increased peace of mind and safety we can fit a balastrade to the loft hatch area.The balastrade fits only with wooden ladders. Should you wish for a rail for aluminium ladders we are happy to discuss you requirements and provide you with options.

	Loft Flooring South West Loft Ladders supply and fit high quality18mm tongue and grooved chip board which is commonly used for the floors in newly developed houses. Most lofts can increase your storage area by 40% of the house often creating a secure, safe and out of sight storage space, thus leaving more needed room within the living area. We are able to install as much or as little flooring as required and it can always be added to at a later date when and if needed. Also,we fit the flooring in a way that if any access to wiring below the flooring arises it can easily be lifted without damage and can then be refitted.

	Loft Hatch Alterations Loft hatches can be enlarged to enable easier access to loft. bearing in mind that when loft ladders are fitted they will narrow the opening space by 2 to 3 inches A maximum door opening is 32 inches in length normally 18 to 24 inches in width. We are also able to offer our customers larger loft doors which can be obtained at an extra cost. Loft hatch alterations and doors can be agreed with customer at time of free survey.
